I’m Amy, certified as a Transformational Coach (Animas Coaching, 2023), with a background spanning Psychology, Public Health and over eleven years of working across the NHS in patient facing roles, Medical Education and currently for a Biotech within Clinical Trial Risk Management.

Why Coaching?

It all started with my own experience of having a coach, prioritising self reflection and making some big shifts in my life. I witnessed first hand the impact having someone in your corner can make, on your confidence, drive and vision, the action focused approach was just what I needed.

I became invested in developing my knowledge of connection, relationship dynamics, what holds people back, what makes people excel and most importantly tapping in to my own intuition and ability to help people feel seen, heard and understood. Now with over +170 hours of coaching a variety of individuals, I’m energised by coaching and everything it has to offer. One of my favourite parts of coaching is starting the journey with someone new and having the privilege of learning all about them, their journey so far, the struggles, the achievements and the areas which are being brought into question. There’s something powerful about witnessing someone showing up as their authentic self, slowly discovering quite how many layers they have built up and what’s driving their behaviours and thoughts. As Brené Brown said:

“Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means to show up and be seen. To ask for what you need. To talk about how you’re feeling. To have the hard conversations.”

When I’m not working or coaching?

I love to travel, so I’m often hopping around Europe whenever possible.

I’m a Cumbrian at heart and I really value the outdoors, nature and having the space to explore, so you can regularly find me hiking, running or getting myself on the yoga mat for some much needed quiet time.

Last but by no means least, I’m an avid listener to electronic music, podcasts and audiobooks.
